With a smooth texture, it has fine, round tannins. This malbec grows on soils rich in organic matter, a very different situation from other great malbecs from Uco. In addition, the altitude and climate of this extreme area mean that its alcohol is unusually low, around 11º, not at all usual in Mendoza.
