Domaine Edmond Rentz

Domaine Edmond Rentz

For over 20 years, Catherine and Patrick have strived to develop agricultural practices more respectful of the environment and have today committed themselves to a process of high environmental value (HVE) which, much like the organic label, is an accreditation that recognises environmental preservation.

This accreditation, with results-based obligations in terms of biodiversity, vine protection, fertilisation and protecting water resources, fully complies with the objectives of the Grenelle Environment Forum.

Alsace produce some amazing Pinot Noirs due to the unique climate of Alsace, cool evenings and lots of sunshine. The 'Piece de Chene' from Domaine Edmond Rentz has a dark rich colour, is full bodied, silky, elegant and has a delicate touch of oak from its 18 months spent maturing in barrels. This wine is fabulous now and will continue to mature in the years to come. Decant 2 hours before serving to release its full aromas. A truly exceptional Pinot Noir !
