Jean-Michel Cazes, the owner of Château Lynch-Bages in Pauillac had spent many years scouring the Languedoc region in his quest for outstanding terroirs, then one day he discovered La Livinière, a village at the foot of the Montagne Noire, the birthplace of the finest vineyards in the Minervois, between Carcassonne and Narbonne. The L'Ostal Rosé is a beautiful pale pink colour, provencal in style where the grapes are pressed immediately at low temperatures in order to reduce the extraction of ph

91 Points (2019) - Natalie Maclean - A consistently great McLaren Vale Shiraz. Generously rich with amazing fruit weight and balanced, chewy tannins. Brimming with ripe red fruits and an underlying layer of subtle oak, as well as a hint of pepper. This wine represents great value, and has a long life ahead of it... If you can resist! Taste  Earthy, spicy Shiraz from McLaren Vale in South Australia, full of black plums, liquorice and black pepper, with a peaty under layer of mushroom, pipe tobacc

    Country: France, Rhone Valley
    Grape: Syrah/shiraz
    ABV: 12.5%
In the centre of the Côte-Rôtie appellation, in the municipality of Ampuis, stands the locality of “Bonnivières”, a handsome east-facing hillside of mica schist where this Cuvee is grown. A typical Côte Brune wine, Bonnivières is full-bodied, but not excessive, with discreet oak and a superb velvety structure. Complex and profound, with a nose of dark fruits, spice, tobacco, and a faint roasted edge, the Bonnivières 2017 is drinking beautifully now, but could still be laid down for years to come
