The Wines

Mar de Frades Albarino Rias Baixas 2023

The iconic Mar de Frades Albariño is the pure expression of the unique characteristics of the Albariño grape variety, whilst reflecting the importance of the nearby Atlantic Ocean. Lively and intense aromas reveal juicy pear and apricot, white gardenia flowers, and hints of tropical lychee and pineapple, with a lovely delicate streak of salinity.

BODEGA LUZDIVINA AMIGO BALOIRO MENCIA BIERZO 2019

94 Points - IWSC Club Oenologique. This incredible red made from hand picked 60-90 year old bush vines from Bierzo in Spain is a real hidden gem ! It has a wonderful balance of restraint and power for a red that matured in matured in American & French Oak for 10 months - a process aimed to respect the true character of the grape. It's floral and perfumed, with moderate ripeness despite the 14.5% alcohol and with a nice texture and very fine tannins. Absolutely beautiful and small production with only 6,000 bottles each year.

Roquette & Cazes Douro Tinto 2020

Roquette & Cazes Douro Tinto, born from the collaboration between Jorge Roquette, proprietor of Quinta do Crasto, and Jean-Charles Cazes, co-owner of Château Lynch-Bages, seamlessly melds Bordeaux winemaking expertise with the distinct character of the Douro region. This exceptional wine showcases a remarkable intensity of vibrant red fruit flavours interwoven with subtle hints of delicate spices, all held together by an impressive structure characterised by luxuriously smooth tannins.
