91 Points - International Wine Report - Six generations and nearly 2 centuries of work have gone into building this superb vineyard. Jérôme Lafon and and his wife follow the principals used by their ancestors in 1850 with the help of today’s technology. This is a delicious medium bodied wine made up of 82% Merlot and 18% Cabernet Sauvignon it displays a wonderful balance of fruit and acidity, leading up to the finish where red cherry and tobacco notes linger on. Exceptional value for a 90+point rated wine.

1 * Château Grand Français 'Grande Cuvée' Bordeaux Supérieur 2018

Current owner Dominique Vacher initiated the conversion process to Organic Agriculture in 1999. Healthy fruit is a necessary prerequisite, but at Grand Français it is not considered enough to make a great wine. Soil analyses have been made to plant the correct varietal in the correct parcel and everything at the property is done by hand. Being organic means there are humans in the vines every day – to weed manually so as not to use weedkiller and to perform leaf thinning to give the grapes optimum exposure when needed. A lovely organic wine, predominantly Merlot, with 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc, where the fruit sings to produce a wine with a complex nose of spice, grilled fruits and wild strawberries.

92 Points - Decanter - This 90+ point Rioja from a modern style, family run winery is incredible value for a wine with this amount of complexity and style. The Solarce Tinto is a blend of Tempranillo, Grenache, Mazuelo & Graciano The wine is aged for 8 months in American and French oak barrels. Full-bodied and silky smooth with layers of fruit and spice. Fantastic Value for money for this superb Rioja.

A superb Spanish blend of Tempranillo and Petit Verdot that is a lot of wine for your money. This organic wine is packed with ripe red berries balanced with refreshing acidity and subtle tannins.

1 * 1339 Teroldego Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2018

Are you after a medium-full bodied, soft and silky red wine to enjoy with some red meat, game or venison? Look no further, you just found it! Teroldego is the grape of Trentino, it has been defined the prince of the region for its enological characteristics. The name probably comes from the name of a place, “Alle Teroldeghe”. Red ruby in colour, vinous on the nose with a light note of violet. Dry on the palate, full bodied, with light tannins and medium alcoholic.

1 * Villa Degli Olmi Corte dei Rovi Montepulciano D'Abruzzo DOC 2020

Villa degli Olmi is a cellar with a long tradition for the quality and distinctiveness of its wines. This Montepulciano is an intense ruby ​​red wine, incredibly pleasant on the nose with typical notes of liquorice and fresh mint. The taste is dry with soft tannins. It combines perfectly with elaborate meats, such as braised or roasted, and with aged cheeses. This Montepulciano D'Abruzzo from Villa Degli Olmi is a great value wine that impresses beyond its price tag. An absolute steal...

In the unfortunate event of any issues you may have with your delivery, please contact our Customer Service team and we will investigate this for you.

As indicated in our Quality Promise we will happily refund or exchange any faulty bottles. All we ask is the bottles in question are returned to us at least half full for verification purposes. If a bottle is broken on delivery we will also replace or refund it but we do require photographic evidence of the breakage. Equally we can arrange for the bottles to be collected the next time you receive a delivery from us.

Should we be unable to fulfil any part, or all of an order, Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) will suggest comparable substitutions. You are free to refuse these suggestions and are eligible for a full refund of relevant parts of the order.

In all instances, Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) must be informed of any claim within 24 hours of receipt of delivery by email or telephone. All refunds will be issued after we have received and approved the faulty items and the amount will be re-credited to your account within 30 days. The amount refunded will be equal to the full amount paid for the relevant products at the time of purchase and must be made by the same payment method as the original sale.

If you choose to cancel your contract of sale with Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) you may do so within 30 days of receipt of the goods. If the goods have already been dispatched they must be returned to us unopened and undamaged, and Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) will not be liable for any costs associated with the original or return delivery. 

No refund can be given when a case has left bond as the value will be affected. Individual bottles of Fine Wine will be considered for refund on a case-by-case basis.
