Yellow apple, peach gelato and a melting beeswax candle give it charm, and Wine Enthusiast found it proudly Washington and eager to make friends. The wine is almost medium bodied, with a long, savoury finish. Aged for 10 months in a combination of new and used French oak, concrete and stainless steel. The wines are made by Dan Wampfler and Amy Alvarez-Wampfler, whose combined experience includes Dan's time at Columbia Crest, where he helped make the wine that became Wine Spectator's number one wine of 2009.
