The blend incorporates Pinotage from diverse locations, each contributing its unique character. This includes granitic soils in the Polkadraai Hills above Stellenbosch, an old vine block in Stellenbosch's Helderberg region, the cooler climate and sandstone soils of the Stanford Foothills on the South Coast, and sandy granite soils in the Paardenberg of the Swartland.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eTasting Note\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis vintage shows fruit abundance and generosity. The nose is loaded with waves of red and black berries, dark cherries and star anise. The palate is equally fruit forward: round, gentle tannins (a signature of the 2022 vintage) are coated in a bouncing fruit abundance.
