WHAT'S IN THE BOX?

2 * Château Les Landes de Cach Pauillac 2016

90 Points (18/20 - France de vin) - This 1.2-hectare vineyard in Pauillac stands next to the 5th growth grand cru classé's of Chateau Batailley, and across the road from Château Grand Puy Lacoste, on soil worthy of a classified growth. The yield here is around 32 hl/ha and the vineyard is planted in equal measure of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The entire batch of their Pauillac parcels is aged in new French oak barrels under the label Château Les Landes de Cach.

2 * Château les Ormes Saint Julien 2014

St Julien is the commune in Bordeaux with the highest proportion of Classed Growths, and its superlative wine growing land make it a go to destination for high quality Bordeaux. Château les Ormes is made up of 2 principal parcels of vines. One touching the western border of Château Léoville Barton (in fact Anthony Barton sold  this parcel to Chateau les Ormes in 1989) and the second further south and  juxtaposed between Château Gruaud Larose, Saint Pierre and Beychevelle. The soils are identical to the other chateaux on the plateau of Beychevelle : beautiful gravel that favours the elegance of Saint Julien. It is no coincidence that 85% of the appellation is Cru Classé. Most of the chateaux that are not classified in this appellation simply didn’t exist in 1855 at the time of the creation of the classification,  although they are made up of plots of land that formerly belonged to these chateaux!

2 *  Château Graves de Pez Saint-Estèphe 2013

92 Points (2014) - International Wine Report. The vineyard is situated on some of the finest terroir of Saint-Estèphe, on the hallowed gravel plateau shared among parcels from Château Montrose, Cos d’Estournel and Haut Marbuzet. Winemaking is done in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks and the wine is transferred into oak barrels for 12 months of ageing. This enhances the fruit in this wine and there are no hard tannins, rusticity or dryness.

2 * Château Jean Faure 'Le Cedre de Jean Faure' Saint-Émilion 2018

The 2nd wine of the Grand Cru Classé Château Jean Faure, Le Cedre de Jean Faure is a Merlot dominant blend (80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc), vinified separately to express the unique terroir of Château Jean Faure, the very same as its neighbours Château Cheval Blanc and Château Figeac. An elegant wine with supple tannins and expressive fruit, a fantastic affordable luxury.

2 * Château Calvimont Graves 2019

90 Points - Decanter. This 90+ point Graves Bordeaux is a 50/40 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot from an historic listed Château on a terrace overlooking the Garonne River. Spiced red hedgerow fruit with well balanced tannins and a fresh finish.

2 * Château Haut-Maurac Médoc 2019

91 Points - Wine Enthusiast - Located in the district of Saint-Yzans, Château Haut-Maurac faces the Gironde estuary, similar to the best hillsides in Medoc.  A low yield of 35hl/ha, this Cru Bourgeois Bordeaux has a muscular but balanced palate which is well structured and has a core of lovely polished fruits from the Merlot dominant blend. "Lovely violet-fringed ruby colour. Soft but clear tannic frame, I love the balance here with well controlled dark fruits, cassis and bilberry giving Haut-Médoc character, and an excellent sense of lift and grip through the palate. One to look out for in the Cru Bourgeois category in 2019. 20% new oak" - Decanter

1 * Double Hinged Corkscrew in Premium Metal Storage Box

* we may have to change a particular wine or vintage due to stock availability. Should we do so, it will be for a wine of a similar style and of an equal or greater value than that of the advertised bottle.

In the unfortunate event of any issues you may have with your delivery, please contact our Customer Service team and we will investigate this for you.

As indicated in our Quality Promise we will happily refund or exchange any faulty or corked bottles, or wines you don’t like. All we ask is the bottles in question are returned to us at least half full for verification purposes. If a bottle is broken on delivery we will also replace or refund it but we do require photographic evidence of the breakage. Equally we can arrange for the bottles to be collected the next time you receive a delivery from us.

Should we be unable to fulfill any part, or all of an order, Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) will suggest comparable substitutions. You are free to refuse these suggestions and are eligible for a full refund of relevant parts of the order.

In all instances, Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) must be informed of any claim within 24 hours of receipt of delivery by letter or telephone. All refunds will be issued after we have received and approved the faulty items and the amount will be re-credited to your account within 30 days. If you choose to cancel your contract of sale with Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) you may do so within seven working days of receipt of the goods. If the goods have already been dispatched they must be returned to us unopened and undamaged, and Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) will not be liable for any costs associated with the original or return delivery.

No refund can be given when a case has left bond as the value will be affected. Individual bottles of Fine Wine will be considered for refund on a case-by-case basis.

We advise contacting our Customers Services team before making any claim to ensure the process goes as smoothly as possible.
