The estate is Sustainability in Practice certified, and the wine has the depth and structure of a top Napa or Bordeaux, with a distinctive Paso sunshine generosity. The palate is concentrated and full bodied, with ripe black fruits, new leather, mineral and iron, silky, integrated tannins and balanced acidity. The finish is long, luxurious and cocoa edged. Their hilltop estate on DAOU Mountain, in the Adelaida District, was once described by the renowned winemaker André Tchelistcheff as a jewel of ecological elements. The estate has been certified California Sustainable Winegrowing, and all three of its estate vineyards are now certified organic by CCOF, with 2026 as the first harvest under that status.
