My passion for wine began whilst living in Spain, where I was working as an English teacher having graduated from university with a degree in Modern European Languages. I fell completely in love with Spanish life and especially their approach to food and wine. Every meal is a special occasion between family or friends, and to pair with their delightful cuisine and ambience, a glass of wine is selected to be enjoyed and create memories. Their attitude towards wine is so different to in the U.K. Once I experienced this, I knew I wanted to take wine seriously and learn more about this fascinating subject. After obtaining my WSET Level 3 exam, my goal then was to share my passion and knowledge with other enthusiasts.

I set up my own business Lingo Vino during the pandemic and hosted several virtual tastings. Since then, I regularly collaborate with several Spanish vineyards and promote their wines, both in English and Spanish, on all social media platforms. I want to make the subject of wine approachable, informative, and still fun! My favourite style of wine? Well, its bubbles all the way!! Sparkling wine, ideal with most dishes and every occasion! Really looking forward to working together with Perfect Cellar to create some amazing wine tasting experiences!
