Château d'Aqueria Tavel Rosé 2022
Château d'Aqueria Tavel Rosé 2022
Bronze Medal - Decanter World Wine Awards. The goto producer for Tavel Rosé, Château d'Aqueria's 'grand vin' is a blend of Grenache Noir, Clairette, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Bourboulenc & Picpoul. The local terroir of sandy-clayey soils are ideal for the production of the estate’s great rosé wines that are both fruity and complex.
"A gently perfumed style, soft, with a touch of inner sweetness. Very fine in texture with well-balanced acidity and a long, red-fruited finish. This has a svelte, tapered shape, silky and pure."
Bronze Medal - Decanter World Wine Awards. (2022)
"Fresh aromas of red cherries on the nose. Full-bodied, powerful and quite enjoyable. Rounded and fleshy."
93 Points - Wine Enthusiast (2021)
"Opulent and juicy, this full-bodied Tavel highlights the fleshy red plum and cherry flavors of Grenache against the peppery, herbal spice of Syrah and a flash of citrusy Clairette. Deep, dusky pink in color, it's a concentrated, thirst-quenching rosé that will drink well into the autumn and winter months."

Winemakers tasting notes: Serve at 12 to 14°C. Much more than a rosé, our Tavel is a “grand vin”. Its deep aromatic complexity and its very special balance are the hallmarks of a great wine. The nose defines the identity of this wine. The attack on notes of spice opens onto a cocktail of red fruit and white fruit. Gorgeous generous mouth where the wide diversity of aromas of fruits combines with a structure that defines the balance of this wine. The finish takes you back to the very first notes of spice. A grand vin that delights gastronomes.
About the Producer
A delightful family-owned Château just outside the village of Tavel with 70 hectares of vines all surrounding the Château. The land was purchased in 1595 by Louis Joseph d’Aqueria, and the current family owners, purchased the estate in 1919.
(HVE) Haute Valeur Environnementale
Environmentally-friendly wine-growing is nothing new at Château d’Aqueria. It is a state of mind and our identity. For over 20 years, Château d’Aqueria has applied deeply-rooted undertakings:
A weather station located in the heart of the vineyard is used to develop study models which reduce human intervention to the strict minimum.
Organic fertilization uses leaves, vine shoots and other noble organic matter, crushed at the foot of each vine-plant, which provide the soil with natural balance and stability.
Every application in the vineyard takes environmental impact into consideration.
