Carricante is Etna’s signature white grape, grown on the volcanic slopes of Sicily’s famous mountain. Lean, mineral and citrus-charged, it’s a wine of tension and clarity, often with notes of anise, herbs and a salty finish. With age it gains layers of honey and smoke, making it one of Italy’s most distinctive whites.
