Fine Malagousia Wine
Malagousia wine is an aromatic white variety grown primarily in Greece and Greek Macedonia. The grape was almost extinct until it was rescued in 1983 by Greek winemaker Evangelos Gerovassiliou. Malagousia wine is known for its citrus and peachy notes and often melony flavours.

"Maron Kikones" is named after "King Maron", the king and priest of the ancient Thracian tribe of "Kikones". A nearly extinct variety, Malagousia was revived in the 1970s and today appears on many best selling labels. Organically cultivated and hand sorted, it is an intensely aromatic wine with the cellaring potential of upto 8 years.
