Almost lost to history, Minutolo is one of southern Italy’s most intriguing white grapes — aromatic, expressive and unmistakably Mediterranean. Grown mainly in the Itria Valley, it combines floral lift with zesty acidity and notes of citrus, white peach and wild herbs. Think of it as somewhere between Fiano and Gewürztraminer, but with its own southern charm. Still relatively rare, but well worth discovering.
