Obaideh

Obaideh

Obaideh is one of Lebanon’s great unsung grapes — ancient, enigmatic and often misunderstood. Thought to be indigenous (though sometimes linked to Chardonnay), it thrives in high-altitude vineyards where cool nights preserve its acidity. The wines are textured and complex, with notes of stone fruit, nuts, spice and a touch of wildness. Whether used solo or in a blend, Obaideh brings personality and depth, offering a compelling counterpoint to more familiar white varieties. A grape with history, character and something to say.
