Tinta Barocca

Tinta Barocca

Tinta Barocca is a lesser-known but vital grape in Portugal’s Douro Valley, often playing a supporting role in both red blends and Port wines. Known for its soft tannins, vibrant red fruit, and subtle spicy notes, it brings roundness and approachability to complex, structured wines. While rarely bottled on its own, Tinta Barocca is essential to the balance and finesse of Douro’s celebrated reds.
