Biodynamic Fine Wine

Biodynamic wine is similar to organic wine in the sense that synthetic chemicals and fertilisers are shunned. However, biodynamic wine goes much further. Coined by Rudolf Steiner in the 1920’s, biodynamic farming follows a specific astrological calendar and takes organic farming to a more spiritual level. Unique and notable practices include cow horns being stuffed with compost and buried for a period of time, before being dug up and used to make a ‘tea’ for fertilising the vineyard.
