Valdivieso is one of Chile’s oldest wineries with a history dating back to 1879 when Don Alberto Valdivieso founded Champagne Valdivieso S.A., the first sparkling wine house in South America. It was only in the early 1980s, however, that they turned their expertise to still wines and it now ranks amongst Chile’s finest and most-awarded wine producers.
