Yohan Lardy

Yohan Lardy

Yohan Lardy is one of a new breed of winemakers breathing new life into this ancient winemaking region. While only in his thirties, he’s already spent time studying in Chile whose nature-first approach is one he’s adopted at home. His domaine now owns a total of 8 hectares of vines in the Beaujolais Crus of Fleurie, Moulin à Vent and Chenas. His wines have already won him critical acclaim with leading names highlighting the aromatic, fruit-forward profile of wines, and their complex, terroir-driven character. In keeping with the best Beaujolais wines, Yohan’s Moulin-a-Vent 2020 drank well young but has what it takes to age gracefully for another 5-10 years.
