This non-vintage Cabernet Sauvignon results from a blend of fruit from 2019, 2021, and 2022, sourced from thirty-five-year-old vines grown in some of Napa’s highest-quality subregions. Crafted by renowned winemaker Kevin Morrisey (formerly of Ehlers Estate and Stags’ Leap), Boomslang delivers a harmonious combination of complexity, plush texture, and vibrancy.

Boomslang bursts from the glass with vibrant aromas of blackcurrant, ripe blackberry, blueberry compote, baking spice, vanilla, and cedar, interwoven with hints of tobacco, leather, and toasted oak. On the palate, it’s rich and inviting, showcasing layers of dark plum, cassis, dark chocolate, and espresso, with fine, smooth tannins and juicy acidity providing structure. The finish is long, lingering, and satisfying, with subtle earth, tobacco, and spice notes that echo the silky power and elegance that define Napa’s best Cabernet.
About the Producer
Founded in 2016, Thurlow Cellars has quickly earned distinction for its commitment to site expression and sustainable viticulture. The estate meticulously selects fruit from three revered Napa AVAs - Howell Mountain, Diamond Mountain, and Atlas Peak - drawing on rocky, elevated vineyards for added character and intensity. Boomslang comes from a small family-owned site (planted in 1986) with low yields and thirty-five-year-old vines. The focus is always on hand-crafted, small-batch excellence, with just 12 barrels produced of this release. With roots in both classic and cutting-edge Napa winemaking, Thurlow’s ethos prioritises faithful terroir expression and age-worthy wines.

Boomslang has been highly praised, earning 94 points from Decanter for its “incredibly easy-drinking, smooth character and elegant, red-fruited energy.” Its average consumer score on Vivino stands at 4.1 (as of March 2025). Your E-gift card will be delivered immediately to your email inbox for you to print off or forward on.
As indicated in our Quality Promise we will happily refund or exchange any faulty bottles. All we ask is the bottles in question are returned to us at least half full for verification purposes. If a bottle is broken on delivery we will also replace or refund it but we do require photographic evidence of the breakage. Equally we can arrange for the bottles to be collected the next time you receive a delivery from us.
Should we be unable to fulfil any part, or all of an order, Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) will suggest comparable substitutions. You are free to refuse these suggestions and are eligible for a full refund of relevant parts of the order.
In all instances, Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) must be informed of any claim within 24 hours of receipt of delivery by email or telephone. All refunds will be issued after we have received and approved the faulty items and the amount will be re-credited to your account within 30 days. The amount refunded will be equal to the full amount paid for the relevant products at the time of purchase and must be made by the same payment method as the original sale.
If you choose to cancel your contract of sale with Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) you may do so within 30 days of receipt of the goods. If the goods have already been dispatched they must be returned to us unopened and undamaged, and Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) will not be liable for any costs associated with the original or return delivery.
No refund can be given when a case has left bond as the value will be affected. Individual bottles of Fine Wine will be considered for refund on a case-by-case basis.
We advise contacting our Customers Services team before making any claim to ensure the process goes as smoothly as possible.
Advent Calendars - Due to the made-to-order nature of our Advent Calendars, they are not eligible for a full refund. However, we reserve the right to issue a refund in the form of store credit.
