How many servings will I receive? The 3 TastingBOX has 3 servings, 1 of each wine, and the 6 TastingBOX has 2 servings of each wine.
What size are the servings? Each serving is 100ml.
Why is each serving 100ml? Legally, the government only allows us to ship wine in quantities up to 100ml per serving or in significantly larger sizes.
Why can't the servIng be larger? If we were to ship in larger serving sizes, the TastingBOX would not fit through the letterbox nor would it be able to be posted via Royal Mail. Instead, it would have to be delivered by courier and attract significantly larger shipping costs.
What if I order additional wines at the same time? Your TastingBOX will be delivered by Royal Mail and will fit through a standard sized letterbox, any additional wines ordered will be sent via Parcelforce at no additional cost and you will receive these within 2-5 working days.
When will I be billed? After your first TastingBOX you will be billed on the 15th of the month, from the next payable month (dependent upon your chosen frequency). You should expect to receive your TastingBOX within 2-5 days of the 15th of each month.
The Wines
Domaine de la Croix Cuvee Eloge Cotes de Provence Cru Classe Rose 2023
The Domaine de La Croix vineyard, the largest of the Crus Classés Côtes de Provence, and 1 of only 18, enjoys a geographical location by the sea with an exceptional microclimate. Cuvee Éloge is a delicate and distinguished rosé with a very pale pink colour. This wine presents an expressive nose, offering notes of red fruits and vineyard peach. On the palate, it is round and generous, with a slightly savoury finish that captures the origin and beauty of its terroir.
Casa La Rad Blanco Rioja DOCa 2018
90 Points - Tim Atkin MW. The Casa La Rad wines are made from their most valuable vineyard, the La Rad vineyard, with vines older than 35 years of age. The grapes are handpicked and carefully selected before spending 14 months in new French oak barrels and aged on its lees. This wine has an appealing mid-body that shows fresh and vibrant aromas of white peach, citrus, white flowers with mineral notes. Elegant and well balanced with a creamy texture. A gorgeous white from Rioja - a must try!
Tenute Ca 'Botta Costa Rossa Valpolicella Ripasso DOC Superiore 2017
94 Points - Luca Maroni. This is produced using hand-picked Corvina Veronese, Rondinella, and Corvinone grapes and the age-old Ripasso, double fermentation technique. It then receives length ageing in small French barrels, adding further complexity and depth. This Decanter World Wine Awards Silver Medal winner is the ideal partner for dark red meats, mushroom dishes, and strong cheeses.
