The Ultimate Sauvignon Blanc Collection
The Ultimate Sauvignon Blanc Collection
Sauvignon Blanc is the grape that does fresh, herbal and tropical better than almost any other, and where it grows changes everything. Marlborough brings crunchy lime, Sancerre brings chalky precision, Washington State goes tropical, the South African coast adds a salty edge and Germany's Nahe delivers a flinty twist. Pour them side by side and you will soon know which style is yours. There is even an organic bottle in the mix.

Settlement Heritage Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2024 (New Zealand, Marlborough)
The Marlborough style you already love, made with extra finesse and from organic vineyards. James Suckling gave it 92 Points, praising its lime skin, green apple and a snappy, saline finish. Steve Planthaber spent twelve years in production at Cloudy Bay before launching Settlement, picking fruit from Marlborough's best organic single vineyards. A safe first bottle that tastes like a treat, and a natural match for oysters or goat's cheese.
Lauverjat Moulin des Vrilleres Sancerre Blanc 2025 (France, Loire Valley, Sancerre)
Proper Sancerre at a price that makes a mixed case feel like a smart buy. This multi award winning white comes from old vines of over 30 years, with delicate white flowers, a touch of citrus and a pure, airy finish. The Lauverjat family farm in Sury-en-Vaux and use seaweed to cut back on chemical treatments. Pour it with seafood or a simple plate of fresh fish and you will see why Sancerre is the benchmark.
Two Mountain Sauvignon Blanc Schmidt & Marcella Vineyards 2025 (USA, Washington State, Yakima Valley, Rattlesnake Hills)
Your easy midweek bottle, bursting with tropical fruit and no fuss. Starfruit, kiwi and golden pineapple lead into guava, passion fruit and mango, with a splash of Semillon for extra juiciness. It is made by two brothers who still farm every vine themselves, and their estate was the first in Washington certified through R.U.L.E.S. for Sustainable Winegrowing. Chill it, open it and enjoy it without overthinking.
Strandveld Vineyards Pofadderbos Sauvignon Blanc 2025 (South Africa, Western Cape, Cape Agulhas)
Sea air in a glass, and it has a trophy to prove it. Trophy Wine Show gave it 93 Points and Gilbert and Gaillard 92, for its ruby grapefruit, passion fruit and oyster shell minerality, all carried by lively acidity. It comes from Africa's southernmost winery, where cold Atlantic winds and rocky soils give the grapes real intensity. This is the bottle for grilled fish, oysters or a bowl of mussels.
Groot Phesantekraal Marizanne Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2024 (South Africa, Western Cape, Durbanville)
The generous one, with real depth and a long, mouthwatering finish. Platter's Wine Guide awarded this reserve wine 4½ Stars, and the glass delivers passion fruit, white peach and elderflower over a mineral backbone. It comes from a family estate in Durbanville dating back to 1698, now run by the fourth and fifth generations of the Brink family. Try it with pan seared sea bass or a goat's cheese tart.
Weingut Hees Sauvignon Blanc Auener Hohe 2023 (Germany, Nahe)
The wildcard that makes the case worth having. Germany is famous for Riesling, which makes this lively, flinty Sauvignon Blanc a real talking point at the table. Expect citrus, gooseberry, white peach and fresh cut grass, with juicy lime and grapefruit on a snappy, mineral palate. At just 12.5% it is a lighter pour too, made by a family estate in Auen that has been going since 1824 and takes a sustainable approach. A brilliant aperitif or a partner for seafood.
