Sourced from a single, stone-laden parcel in the Uco Valley, this is Malbec stripped of artifice: fermented in concrete, aged with restrained oak, and bottled with the sole ambition of expressing pure place. The result is a wine of remarkable tension. dark fruit and violet aromatics underpinned by a chalky, mineral spine that sets it apart from the plush, fruit-forward style Argentina is often known for.

Deep ruby in the glass. The nose opens with blackcurrant, dried violet and a whisper of graphite. On the palate, concentrated yet precise — layers of dark plum and black cherry are framed by fine, powdery tannins and a long, mineral-driven finish. A wine built for the cellar, but already showing beautifully.

"Quiet complexity that needs time in the glass. While it is brooding and deep, there is also a perfumed, floral and herbal aspect that makes it so attractive and unforgettable, even at such an embryonic stage. Freshly crushed blueberries, dried licorice, decadent violets, crushed stones and ash on the nose. Satin-textured tannins on the palate, which are tense, chalky and seamless. Powerful and juicy with impeccable balance. A great, cerebral and intrinsic malbec from Argentina. You can drink now, if you want, but it is a wine that you’d want to keep for the next two decades. A real charmer, especially for the wine nerds. Buy this and try! "

Founded in Mendoza in 1963, Zuccardi has become one of South America's most compelling terroir-driven estates. Under Sebastián Zuccardi, the family has pioneered a meticulous approach to vineyard research — mapping soils, altitudes and microclimates across the Uco Valley with rare precision. Biodynamic farming and minimal intervention in the winery are the guiding principles, allowing each site to speak for itself.

Your E-gift card will be delivered immediately to your email inbox for you to print off or forward on.
As indicated in our Quality Promise we will happily refund or exchange any faulty bottles. All we ask is the bottles in question are returned to us at least half full for verification purposes. If a bottle is broken on delivery we will also replace or refund it but we do require photographic evidence of the breakage. Equally we can arrange for the bottles to be collected the next time you receive a delivery from us.
Should we be unable to fulfil any part, or all of an order, Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) will suggest comparable substitutions. You are free to refuse these suggestions and are eligible for a full refund of relevant parts of the order.
In all instances, Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) must be informed of any claim within 24 hours of receipt of delivery by email or telephone. All refunds will be issued after we have received and approved the faulty items and the amount will be re-credited to your account within 30 days. The amount refunded will be equal to the full amount paid for the relevant products at the time of purchase and must be made by the same payment method as the original sale.
If you choose to cancel your contract of sale with Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) you may do so within 30 days of receipt of the goods. If the goods have already been dispatched they must be returned to us unopened and undamaged, and Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) will not be liable for any costs associated with the original or return delivery.
No refund can be given when a case has left bond as the value will be affected. Individual bottles of Fine Wine will be considered for refund on a case-by-case basis.
We advise contacting our Customers Services team before making any claim to ensure the process goes as smoothly as possible.
Advent Calendars - Due to the made-to-order nature of our Advent Calendars, they are not eligible for a full refund. However, we reserve the right to issue a refund in the form of store credit.
