On the palate, Rocas de Seña 2021 exhibits layers of fresh fruit such as strawberries, sour cherries, pomegranate, and blueberries, complemented by savoury notes reminiscent of pastries and nuts. This wine is juicy and finely textured, marked by silky tannins and a long, elegant finish. There are subtle floral and herbal nuances - violets, sage, and hints of dill and cloves - with a faint thread of spice and toast from its time in oak.

Rocas de Seña is produced by the renowned Seña estate, a pioneering partnership between Eduardo Chadwick and the Mondavi family in Chile’s Aconcagua Valley. What sets Seña apart is its holistic focus on expressing the unique rocky, volcanic terroir of the region. The estate leverages plots with different exposures, including some that favour Mediterranean varieties like Syrah and Grenache. Only parcels achieving the highest quality are chosen for the blend, and a commitment to sustainability and organic practices underpins production. Notably, Rocas de Seña is a 'second wine' exploring fresh, precise, and age-worthy characteristics, offering a superb reflection of both site and vintage.
Who is Eduardo Chadwick
Eduardo Chadwick is a leading Chilean winemaker and president of Viña Errázuriz. Known for elevating Chilean wine to world-class status, he created iconic wines like Seña and Viñedo Chadwick, and famously triumphed at the 2004 “Berlin Tasting” where his wines were blind tasted against the world’s top Bordeaux and Super Tuscan labels, achieving landmark success and proving that Chile could make world-class wines. A champion of quality, innovation, and sustainability, Chadwick was named Decanter Man of the Year in 2018.

Your E-gift card will be delivered immediately to your email inbox for you to print off or forward on.
As indicated in our Quality Promise we will happily refund or exchange any faulty bottles. All we ask is the bottles in question are returned to us at least half full for verification purposes. If a bottle is broken on delivery we will also replace or refund it but we do require photographic evidence of the breakage. Equally we can arrange for the bottles to be collected the next time you receive a delivery from us.
Should we be unable to fulfil any part, or all of an order, Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) will suggest comparable substitutions. You are free to refuse these suggestions and are eligible for a full refund of relevant parts of the order.
In all instances, Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) must be informed of any claim within 24 hours of receipt of delivery by email or telephone. All refunds will be issued after we have received and approved the faulty items and the amount will be re-credited to your account within 30 days. The amount refunded will be equal to the full amount paid for the relevant products at the time of purchase and must be made by the same payment method as the original sale.
If you choose to cancel your contract of sale with Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) you may do so within 30 days of receipt of the goods. If the goods have already been dispatched they must be returned to us unopened and undamaged, and Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) will not be liable for any costs associated with the original or return delivery.
No refund can be given when a case has left bond as the value will be affected. Individual bottles of Fine Wine will be considered for refund on a case-by-case basis.
We advise contacting our Customers Services team before making any claim to ensure the process goes as smoothly as possible.
Advent Calendars - Due to the made-to-order nature of our Advent Calendars, they are not eligible for a full refund. However, we reserve the right to issue a refund in the form of store credit.
