Limited stock! A characterful, low-intervention blend of Chenin Blanc and Grüner Veltliner, and part of Kapitel Zwei's long-awaited first vintage. This is a wine of two worlds: the Chenin Blanc that founder Chris Sciacca has staked his estate on, married to Grüner Veltliner, the signature white grape of his adopted home on the Danube. Fresh, textural and just 11.5% alcohol, it's bottled — like the rest of the range — in a distinctive 500ml format for easy, characterful drinking.

Crisp green apple, pear and quince meet a squeeze of citrus and the gentle white-pepper lift that Grüner Veltliner does so well. Light-bodied and mouth-watering, with a saline freshness and a clean, dry finish — a versatile aperitif that's equally happy with salads, fish, or lighter poultry and veg dishes.

A blend of Chenin Blanc and Grüner Veltliner, hand-picked and made with minimal intervention to keep the fruit pure and the wine fresh. 11.5% ABV · 500ml bottle.
About the Producer
Kapitel Zwei — "Chapter Two" — is the second act of founder Chris Sciacca. After 25 years in corporate communications, including two decades at IBM, he swapped his suit and keyboard for pruning shears and overalls, went back to university in 2021 for a three-year degree in viticulture and wine business at IMC Krems, and served an apprenticeship at Paumanok Vineyards on New York's Long Island. The name says it all: this is the chapter where a lifelong wine lover finally makes his own.
He settled in Krems an der Donau, an hour from Vienna, and bought a small, long-abandoned single vineyard — the Kremsleithen, a steep loam-and-clay slope running down to the river Krems that was first recorded in 1266. He replanted it in May 2022 with French varieties — Chenin Blanc, Roussanne and Sémillon — farmed organically and sustainably and destined for ageing in amphora and steel. 2025 is his first vintage, released in tiny quantities and already shipped to drinkers from Austria and England to the USA and South Africa. "Endlich," indeed.

E-Gift Cards
Your E-gift card will be delivered immediately to your email inbox for you to print off or forward on.
As indicated in our Quality Promise we will happily refund or exchange any faulty bottles. All we ask is the bottles in question are returned to us at least half full for verification purposes. If a bottle is broken on delivery we will also replace or refund it but we do require photographic evidence of the breakage. Equally we can arrange for the bottles to be collected the next time you receive a delivery from us.
Should we be unable to fulfil any part, or all of an order, Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) will suggest comparable substitutions. You are free to refuse these suggestions and are eligible for a full refund of relevant parts of the order.
In all instances, Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) must be informed of any claim within 24 hours of receipt of delivery by email or telephone. All refunds will be issued after we have received and approved the faulty items and the amount will be re-credited to your account within 30 days. The amount refunded will be equal to the full amount paid for the relevant products at the time of purchase and must be made by the same payment method as the original sale.
If you choose to cancel your contract of sale with Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) you may do so within 30 days of receipt of the goods. If the goods have already been dispatched they must be returned to us unopened and undamaged, and Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) will not be liable for any costs associated with the original or return delivery.
No refund can be given when a case has left bond as the value will be affected. Individual bottles of Fine Wine will be considered for refund on a case-by-case basis.
We advise contacting our Customers Services team before making any claim to ensure the process goes as smoothly as possible.
Advent Calendars - Due to the made-to-order nature of our Advent Calendars, they are not eligible for a full refund. However, we reserve the right to issue a refund in the form of store credit.
